Trish and John have just returned from presenting our first Gottman base workshops in Western Australia!
Over the weekend of 9 and 10 July, 5 brave couples arrived at the Novotel Langley in Perth to spend 2 days focussed on improving their relationships at the Art and Science of Love Couples Workshop. Over the two days Trish and John led them through a range of information and activities designed to help them build closer more connected and intimate relationships, better manage conflict and create shared goals and meaning in their relationships.

Over the weekend of 9 and 10 July, 5 brave couples arrived at the Novotel Langley in Perth to spend 2 days focussed on improving their relationships at the Art and Science of Love Couples Workshop. Over the two days Trish and John led them through a range of information and activities designed to help them build closer more connected and intimate relationships, better manage conflict and create shared goals and meaning in their relationships.
One couple wrote afterwards “These last 2 days have saved our relationship. We have learnt so many skills, have had opportunities to engage in a range of previously impossible conversations together in a safe and supported environment and are leaving feeling renewed and hopeful about our relationship. Thank you Trish and John!”
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Trish and John spent another two days training a wonderfully enthusiastic group of therapists at the Gottman Level 1 - Bridging the Couple Chasm 2 day workshop. Participants came from a range of theoretical and professional backgrounds and all reported afterwards that the 2 days of learning had been excellent in helping them better understand the process of couples therapy.
In fact they were so excited by the training that they have convinced us to COME BACK TO WA! So Trish and John are now working on dates in mid February 2017 to come to Perth to not only repeat the Level 1 and Art and Science of Love Workshops but to also deliver a Level 2 training!
